Dr Federica Osti

Dr Federica Osti is an Italian dermatologist with almost 20 years of clinical experience. She is a lecturer in Dermocosmetology at the University of Ferrara and teaches Ethical Web Marketing in the International Second-Level Master's Programme in Global Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Naples Federico II. She also holds a Master's degree in Science Journalism and Communication.

She is actively involved in continuing medical education, serving as Scientific Director of training courses for dermatologists, pharmacists and general practitioners.

Alongside her clinical practice, she is committed to patient education and evidence-based health communication through social media, books and digital projects. She is the author of La pelle lo sa (Mondadori), a book aimed at helping people better understand their skin and its connection to overall health and well-being.

She is a co-author of the Italian consensus on the ethical and professional use of social media by dermatologists and served as an official Social Media Reporter at the EADV Congress 2026. She strongly believes that responsible digital communication can improve health literacy, strengthen the doctor-patient relationship and help fight medical misinformation.
