Dr Aseem Sharma

Dr Aseem Sharma is a dermatologist, educator and academician based in Mumbai. He serves as Director and Principal Dermatologist at Skin Saga Centre for Dermatology, and is also the Director of ADMIRE Academy and the President of AIM Congress. His work spans clinical and procedural dermatology, medical education, academic publishing and professional training.

He is the Global Series Editor for Interventional Dermatology with Springer Nature and has contributed extensively to dermatology literature, with 207 published articles and book chapters and 16 books as Editor-in-Chief. Over the course of his academic career, he has delivered more than 1,500 presentations in India and internationally.

Dr Sharma previously served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at LTMMC & GH, Mumbai, and has worked with the World Health Organization as Maharashtra State Liaison. Before entering full-time academic and clinical dermatology, he served in the Indian Air Force from 2005 to 2012, retiring as a Squadron Leader.

He has received the IADVL Young Dermatologist Award and was previously associated with the New Delhi Times as a journalist. He holds an MD, DNB and MBA qualifications and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London.
