Farzaana Hossain is a final-year medical student at the University of New South Wales. Her clinical training has spanned a range of specialties across Australia, with additional elective experience in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
Alongside her clinical training, Farzaana has been involved in medical education and research across dermatology, paediatrics and women’s health, presenting her work at international meetings. She is particularly interested in how clinicians communicate evidence-based health information clearly and responsibly, especially as social media increasingly shapes how younger generations access and interpret health advice.
Outside of her formal training, she enjoys teaching and mentoring junior students, and hopes to continue combining clinical practice, education and research throughout her career.
